Mild High Club is that sticky kind of psyche pop that oozes over your ears. Perfect for chilling out and tapping toes.

These Minnesotans have a craft and it’s called indie pop bliss. Lead singer/songwriter Kerry Alexander’s inspiration from 90’s power girls runs strong, yet feels modern. Also, Bad Bad Hats have a bunch of music videos–and if music videos are meant to make you want to trade in all your friends to hang out with the band, theirs are perfect.
Michael Rault’s combination of garage psych and groggy pop make me dance – and paired with his self-aware but no-care lyrics, I don’t feel bad about singing along, either. “Lovers Lie” is my pick, but the entire Living Daylight album is worth an easy spin or two (or a thousand).
