How to describe this album? You could start with the nagging urge to hear the earnest vocals push through the deep pocket of instrumental noise. You could talk about how you can’t always make out the words but you know exactly what they are saying. You could compare them to Superchunk or a closer contemporary such as Pile. You could mourn their disappearance or you could just keep pressing repeat.
